Confederate flag thoughts

The Confederate Flag is not racist. The Civil War was a war for Southern Independence because the South wanted to be left alone. Slavery was as important to the North as it was to the South. However the Southern economy was so important to the North that they would not allow the Southern States to become independent. Therefore the flag represented states rights, not slavery. – “It is a flag of honor, designed by the confederacy to distinguish itself from the Union.” This is America, so we should be allowed to fly and sell the confederate flag anywhere we desire, but thanks to our lovely gov, they are slowly taking it away.

Or should I say, I can’t stand ignorant bastards trying to hop in this whole discussion by saying its a racism flag and whoever has one/supports it is a racist. Know your History.
